The Little Things

Since 1937, the ASBL Les Petits Riens has been collecting, sorting and selling second-hand items. These activities help finance social projects. With the objective: to participate in the construction of a fairer and more united society. Through access to housing and work, encourage everyone to gain autonomy while remaining aware of the link that connects us to others and to the environment.

To help this non-profit organization, you can make a donation to the account BE33-0000-1902-6346 with the communication “INTER”.

The funds collected therefore make it possible to finance housing and professional reintegration projects and also provide psychological support to people in difficulty.

Thermos

Operation Thermos was born at the initiative of scout leaders who started to bring coffee and sandwiches to the homeless in train stations every evening. Rapidly more and more homeless people were coming, more and more volunteers were showing up and more and more meals were prepared. Today, 30 teams follow one another to offer meals and coffee to the homeless in the Central Station of Brussels from November 1st until April 30st. Each team operates with its own resources.

Street Nurses

The most vulnerable group on the street is made up of men and women who are in very poor health, have combined physical and mental health problems and have lived on the street for several years. Generally, they are totally cut off from medical and social services. This is the specific group of people that the street nurses aim to help.

In Brussels and in Liège, the street nurses provide these people with long-term medical and social follow-up. Their ultimate aim is to help the poor off the streets and bring them back into sustainable, worthy and appropriate housing, such as an individual apartment or a care home.

You can donate via a bank transfer to Street nurses’ account:
